This place is awesome. Service is always friendly without being overbearing and the restaurant is clean. The menu is extensive and includes alcoholic beverages. Portions are generous-- we always leave with enough for a meal at home. We generally order the yellow curry, panang curry, and pad se eew. It is all delicious and comes out hot. Nothing worse than Luke warm food! They use a 1-10 scale for how spicy you want the food. There is plenty of parking and this is right off the main blvd so super easy to find.
Surprisingly good. Came on a weeknight and there were a lot of empty tables. Tried the penang curry with chicken, which was a bit watery but had a lot of chicken. I was full and still had a lot left. Also tried the crab fried rice. Great flavor but slightly dry. Overall, the food is good and the portions are very large. Definitely come by if you're in Pico Rivera. I mean, what else is there around here lol.
My recommended spot for authentic, reliable Thai food in Pico Rivera. This location has been in business for over 10 years. Demographics plays a huge part with its menu. Absent are the more exotic fish and seafood dishes its other two locations in Rosemead and Rowland Heights are well known for. There are still over 100 menu items to select from including nearly 40 lunch specials served all day, signature curry dishes, house specialties, traditional noodle, fried rice, vegetable, soup and salad dishes, desserts, as well as familiar entrees like prik king, pad prik and spicy basil. Price range is between $7.95 to $12.95. Only the freshest ingredients are used. A touch of elegance is added to their dishes: nice plating, visually aesthetic and just enough food to satisfy. The wonderful flavors and colors of Thai cuisine are highlighted in their dishes. BEST BETS: lunch specials, Thai tea, spicy Thai basil, pad kee mow (drunken noodle). Service is fast and there is usually plenty of seating. They also deliver! Other positives here are the spacious, clean interior, friendly owner and manager, and ample parking in the plaza.
Tried this place for the 1st time today. Ordered the Chicken Noodle soup (takeout) and it was ok. Soup is always so much better when you dine in. The broth and chicken came in 1 container and the noodles and sprouts came in a takeout box. Had to mix them together when I got home. Because the noodles weren't in the broth yet, they were kinda mushy and super sticking together. But once I got it in the broth, mix it up and broke up the noodles, it got better. Taste was also ok. Should of gone with one of the more authentic Thai soups like Tom Yum. Next time! Better than decent chicken soup... the warmth did hit the spot on today cuz I was cold!
